The Bramall Lane youngsters have been impressive for the Pilgrims to date – and will now be remaining at the Jakemans Community Stadium following the expiry of their initial deals on Monday.

Dewhurst (20) and Gordon (19) will be available for selection when United travel to Gloucester City on Saturday as the Pilgrims begin the post-Craig Elliott era at New Meadow Park.

Dewhurst's new youth loan arrangement extends until mid-March, just ahead of the player's 21st birthday, while Gordon's youth loan deal runs until the conclusion of the season.
