The 23-year-old has joined the Pilgrims from National League North side Curzon Ashton, having enjoyed a stellar personal campaign with the Nash.

Jones kept 20 clean sheets in 45 National League North appearances, as Curzon missed out on a play-off position on the final day.

He has previous experience with the likes of AFC Fylde, Stockport County and Marine – and won promotion from the Northern Premier League with the latter in 2024 during a successful loan spell.

Jones will compete with Rhys Lovett for the number one jersey at the Jakemans Community Stadium.
