The 26-year-old, who featured for Stratford Town, Hereford FC and Brackley Town in 2021-2022, has put pen-to-paper to become United’s eighth summer signing.

Gordon scored three goals in two Emirates FA Cup encounters for Stratford against the Pilgrims - before stepping back up to Step 2 with Hereford initially and then Brackley.

“Having worked with Jaanai before, I am well aware of the qualities he possesses,” reflected manager Paul Cox. “He has a tremendous work ethic, desire and application.

“Jaanai has the adaptability that we were looking for and with a number of clubs looking to sign him for the season ahead, I feel we have signed a player that will not only score goals, but will create goals for others.”
