Boston United have completed the loan signing of Stockport County striker Frank Mulhern.

The 22-year-old, who has a National League North title to his name, arrives at The Jakemans Stadium ahead of Saturday's home fixture against Kidderminster Harriers.

Mulhern has five National League goals to his credit this season and scored against the Pilgrims in March 2019 as Stockport marched towards promotion.

Reflecting on Mulhern's arrival, United manager Craig Elliott told bufc.co.uk: "Frank is someone I have liked for a long time.

"He has always played well against Boston United for Bradford Park Avenue and Stockport County. He's a physical attacker but with an eye for goal.

"He also has recent experience of winning the league that will be vital for us in the coming weeks.

"I would like to thank Stockport County and in particular Jim Gannon for helping get this deal sorted in time so Frank can be involved tomorrow."
