It follows the postponement of Morecambe's scheduled opening day National League visit.

The Pilgrims will now kick-off the season with successive National League Cup Group D fixtures - with Leeds United primed to visit on Tuesday August 12 (7.00pm kick-off).

Sunderland will visit the Jakemans Community Stadium on Tuesday September 16 (7.00pm kick-off).

A date for the visit of Newcastle United will follow in due course.

Tickets for the first raft of National League and National League Cup home fixtures will go on sale at the start of next week.
