Boston United are back in action at The Jakemans Stadium on Saturday afternoon with the visit of Guiseley (kick-off 3.00pm).

The Pilgrims have gleaned five points from their opening three fixtures in National League North while opponents Guiseley have won three and lost one of their first four encounters.

Tuesday's 1-0 home win over Leamington came at a cost with Jay Rollins and Jordan Thewlis both dismissed, but they will be available for selection on Saturday ahead of respective three-match suspensions.

Thewlis scored the only goal of the game from the penalty spot as United defeated the Brakes to make it one win and two draws for their opening three contests.

Guiseley, meanwhile, defeated Spennymoor Town 3-1 on Tuesday night, having also beaten King's Lynn Town (3-0) on the opening day and Bradford Park Avenue (5-0, away from home). Their other away match to date resulted in a 3-0 defeat at Southport last weekend.

Ex-Pilgrims Scott Garner and Kaine Felix could feature for the Lions on Saturday.

Last season's corresponding fixture ended 1-0 to the Pilgrims on the opening day, courtesy of Andre Johnson’s late winner.

Saturday's match referee is Adam Williamson, who last officiated the Pilgrims at York City in March.

Matchday updates for those not in attendance will be published on Twitter via @bostonunited — starting with team news at 2.00pm.
