Boston United are back on the road in National League North on Saturday afternoon when they head to Darlington (kick-off 3.00pm).

The Pilgrims are searching for their second away league win of the campaign when they make the trip to Blackwell Meadows to face Alun Armstrong's Quakers.

New recruit Martyn Woolford could make his United debut, having completed his move from Hyde United earlier in the week.

Manager Craig Elliott will check on the fitness of defender Simon Ainge, who limped out of last weekend's Emirates FA Cup win at Sutton Coldfield Town, and winger Jay Rollins, who sustained an ankle injury the week before against Southport.

York City loanee Jake Wright is still sidelined with a hamstring complaint.

The Pilgrims are currently six places and five points better off than Saturday's opponents, who have collected 10 points from a possible 18 on home soil so far.

Last season's corresponding fixture ended 1-0 to the hosts, with United finishing with nine men following red cards for Ben Middleton and George Willis.

Saturday's match referee is James Westgate.
