Boston United resume their quest for National League North points on Saturday afternoon when they make the long journey to Edgar Street.

Hereford FC are the weekend's opponents (kick-off 3.00pm) as the Pilgrims chase their first away win since a 2-0 victory at Edgar Street on the final day of last season.

The Bulls, who were beaten 4-1 at Chester FC on Bank Holiday Monday, have appointed Russell Slade as their new manager and he will be in the dugout for the first time on Saturday.

For United, meanwhile, Craig Elliott's side will be aiming for back-to-back wins following their 5-0 demolition of Altrincham on Monday.

Tom Platt and Dominic Knowles both opened their scoring accounts for the Pilgrims on Monday and will be looking for further rewards in Herefordshire.

United's selection options are still hampered by the absence of striker Jake Wright (hamstring) although Jay Rollins and Jordan Thewlis will complete their respective three-match suspensions on Saturday ahead of Tuesday night's trip to Kettering Town.

Saturday's match referee is Dale Baines.
