Preview - AFC Fylde

Preview - AFC Fylde

Craig Singleton21 Nov 2022 - 11:49

Boston United are back in National League North action on Tuesday evening with a trip to face AFC Fylde (kick-off 7.45pm).

The Pilgrims make their first return to Mill Farm since their memorable play-off semi-final victory in May, when two Danny Elliott goals booked United's promotion final trip to York City.

Keenan Ferguson and Jake Wright are the only Pilgrims from that fixture in contention to feature this time around – against a Fylde side now managed by ex-United boss Adam Murray.

United boss Ian Culverhouse will welcome back cup-tied duo Lebrun Mbeka and Tom Solanke – as well as reporting no new injury worries following Saturday's FA Trophy trip to Tamworth.

Jaanai Gordon will be hoping to get the nod to lead the United line once again, having scored his third goal of the season in the 1-1 draw at Tamworth on Saturday.

Last season's corresponding fixture ended 1-0 in Fylde's favour courtesy of Nick Haughton.
