Both sides find themselves in the bottom four ahead of kick-off, with Ian Culverhouse’s Pilgrims aiming to bounce back from their 1-0 home defeat at the hands of FC Halifax Town at the weekend. Fylde, meanwhile, lost 4-0 at Dagenham and Redbridge in Kevin Phillips’ first league match in charge.

Fylde completed a league double over the Pilgrims in 2022-2023, as Adam Murray’s Coasters clinched the National League North title.

This will be the first Step 1 meeting between the clubs, following United’s own promotion earlier this year.

Cameron Gregory, Jake Lovelace, Mitch Roberts, Martin Woods and Tony Weston remain sidelined for the Pilgrims.
