The Pilgrims play host to Aldershot Town (kick-off 12.30pm) in their first home match for four weeks.
Since suffering last-gasp anguish at the hands of Carlisle United on November 22, the Pilgrims have been on the road to Yeovil Town, Morecambe and Tamworth.
On-loan Southend United defender Adam Crowther is poised for his home debut, having featured in all three away matches since his arrival from Roots Hall.
United boss Graham Coughlan will also check on the fitness of left-sider Matty Carson, who missed out at Tamworth with a knock to his ankle.
Last season's corresponding fixture ended 1-1, with United victorious in both away matches against the Shots since (2-1 and 3-2). Lenell John-Lewis was on target twice at the EBB Stadium this season.
