Preview - Boreham Wood

Craig Singleton18 Sep - 15:45

Boston United resume their quest for National League points on Saturday when Boreham Wood make their first visit to the Jakemans Community Stadium.

The high-flying North Londoners are Saturday's visitors (kick-off 3.00pm) in the Pilgrims' fourth home fixture so far this season.

Victory over Wealdstone has been sandwiched by defeats to FC Halifax Town and Solihull Moors to ensure a mixed start on home turf for Graham Coughlan's side.

Coughlan was at least boosted by the return of full-back Jordan Cropper and striker Manni Norkett in midweek, although defenders Michael Kelly (illness) and Jacob Scott (hip) missed out.

On-loan Birmingham City defender Tommy Fogarty is also poised to return to the fold after an ankle injury picked up at Truro City, which forced him to miss his international call-up for Northern Ireland under-21s.

Opponents Boreham Wood bounced back from relegation in 2024 to win the National League South play-offs earlier this year - and remain unbeaten since suffering an opening day defeat to Rochdale.
