The Pilgrims head to Eastleigh (kick-off 3.00pm) for their second away fixture – looking to bounce back from Tuesday evening's 1-0 home defeat at the hands of FC Halifax Town.
Eastleigh were beaten 1-0 at Brackley Town and 2-0 at home by Gateshead in their first two fixtures – ahead of Wednesday evening's 3-2 derby victory over Aldershot Town.
Injury woes are currently affecting the United squad – with wing-back Jordan Cropper (hamstring) the latest to join the casualty list in midweek.
Manager Graham Coughlan was hopeful that a couple of his walking wounded could be fit enough for the Bank Holiday weekend – while newest recruit Tommy Fogarty will feature once again after his debut against Halifax.
Last season's corresponding fixture turned out to be Ian Culverhouse's final match in charge. United led 1-0 through Sam Osborne but despite Scott Quigley's red card, Eastleigh equalised through Chris Maguire's stoppage time penalty to earn a 1-1 draw.
