The Pilgrims will be aiming to climb closer towards safety – and maintain the buffer between themselves and bottom-placed Ebbsfleet.
United have not travelled to Stonebridge Road since October 1981 when the hosts were known as Gravesend & Northfleet. Dave Adamson was on target in a 3-1 defeat. The return fixture later in the season at York Street ended 2-2.
Ebbsfleet started the season with Danny Searle at the helm, but he has since been replaced by Harry Watling.
United manager Graham Coughlan will take charge of his third match as United boss – but he will be without the services of defender Zak Mills (hamstring).
Coughlan’s cause could be boosted by the availability of midfielder Martin Woods and striker Tony Weston, following long-term injuries.
