The Pilgrims' first home fixture will unfold against the Shaymen (kick-off 7.45pm) – hot-on-the-heels of Saturday's 3-2 victory over Aldershot Town. The match will be preceded by a minute's applause in memory of club president John Blackwell.
Lenell John-Lewis netted twice, alongside Greg Sloggett's deflected winner, as the Pilgrims made a winning start in Hampshire.
United will check on the fitness of captain Zak Mills, who limped out of Saturday's match at Aldershot Town with a hamstring complaint.
The likes of Michael Kelly, Jacob Scott, Frankie Maguire, Arjan Raikhy and Liam Waldock remain unlikely to feature – alongside the continued absence of long-term injury victim Jacob Hazel.
Opponents Halifax, who completed a double over the Pilgrims last season, have suffered back-to-back defeats at Braintree Town (3-0) and Wealdstone (2-1) to date – and have not yet played a home fixture due to ongoing pitch maintenance.

The match will be shown live on National League TV.
