Boston United resume their National League campaign on Saturday afternoon with an early kick-off against Gateshead.

The 12.30pm kick-off, for DAZN purposes, sees United back in action at the Gateshead International Stadium – fresh from three successive 1-1 draws on the road.

Creditable points at Hartlepool United, Southend United and Sutton United arrived in September – with United now looking to make it four matches unbeaten overall.

While the Pilgrims were drawing 0-0 at home to Forest Green Rovers on Wednesday, Gateshead were enjoying an extra 24 hours’ rest after dispatching Morecambe 5-2 at the Mazuma Stadium on Tuesday night.

Alun Armstrong’s side, buoyed by two away wins during the last week, have collected 17 points from their opening 13 fixtures.

Last season’s corresponding fixture ended 2-0 to Gateshead, although the Pilgrims responded with a 3-1 FA Trophy victory (at Stockton Town) and a 2-1 home win – a result which ultimately secured National League survival.
