Preview - Kidderminster Harriers

Craig Singleton7 Nov 2022 - 14:31

Boston United hope to have strikers Jake Wright and Jaanai Gordon back in contention for the visit of Kidderminster Harriers on Tuesday evening.

The Pilgrims entertain their visitors from the West Midlands (kick-off 7.45pm) in the first meeting of the sides since last season’s play-off eliminator at Aggborough, which United won 2-1.

Wright (groin) sat out the 1-1 draw at Peterborough Sports on Saturday, while Gordon (knee) has missed United’s last five matches.

It would be a boost for Ian Culverhouse’s side, currently missing the services of Zak Mills (hamstring), Luke Shiels (hamstring) and Jordan Burrow (ankle).

Harriers, with ex-Pilgrims Alex Penny, Shane Byrne and Ashley Hemmings in their ranks, are currently 10th with 24 points to their credit and have only lost twice away from home this season.

Last season's corresponding fixture ended 2-1 to Harriers, although United did exact revenge a week later with a 4-1 FA Trophy victory on the same ground.
