Postponed due to a waterlogged pitch on Saturday December 21 and Tuesday January 28, the Pilgrims will hope it's a case of third time lucky when they head to the Crown Oil Arena at Spotland (kick-off 7.45pm).
United will be gunning for a fifth consecutive away win – something not achieved in league action since 1995.
Manager Graham Coughlan will monitor the fitness of midfielder Frankie Maguire, who has missed the Yeovil Town and Braintree Town victories with a hamstring strain.
No further injuries have been reported to accompany Michael Bostwick, Mitch Roberts, Dan Adshead and Oisin Gallagher on the sidelines.
Dale were 3-0 victors at the Jakemans Community Stadium on the opening day of the season and currently sit a point inside the play-off positions, with games in hand on the teams around them.
