Preview - Solihull Moors

Preview - Solihull Moors

Craig Singleton5 Sep - 16:07

Boston United make their homecoming on Saturday afternoon after a busy week up and down the country.

Since defeating Wealdstone on August Bank Holiday Monday, the Pilgrims have clocked up 1,030 miles in journeys to and from Truro City and Hartlepool United – and now return home to face Solihull Moors (kick-off 3.00pm).

United, with a host of individuals unavailable for the Truro and Hartlepool trips, will check on the fitness of their injured players ahead of the Solihull fixture – with Jordan Cropper, Zak Mills, Tommy Fogarty, Liam Waldock, Frankie Maguire, Kieren Donnelly and Jacob Hazel all previously missing out.

The Moors have parted company with manager Matt Taylor since their 1-0 midweek home defeat at the hands of Yeovil Town – one of seven winless encounters endured by the West Midlanders so far.

Their squad will include former Pilgrims Cameron Green and Brad Nicholson, who both switched to Damson Park in the summer.

Last season’s corresponding fixture ended 1-0 to the Moors, courtesy of Jamey Osborne’s spectacular Boxing Day winner.
