The Pilgrims entertain Southampton at the Jakemans Community Stadium (kick-off 7.00pm) in their latest Group D encounter.

Neither side are likely to qualify from the group stage, with United having lost to Birmingham City and West Bromwich Albion to date, while Southampton have lost to Truro City and Woking.

There are still financial rewards for a United victory – with manager Paul Hurst likely to rotate his squad ahead of Saturday’s Emirates FA Cup encounter against Scunthorpe United.

Ken Aboh, Sai Sachdev, Ben Hammond and Kai Mauro could all come into contention after missing out against Southend United on Saturday.

Should the scoreline remain level after 90 minutes, the match will head to penalties to determine the destination of an extra point.

The club are only opening the Acorn Taxis (West) Stand for this fixture – with tickets on sale here or contactless payments available on the turnstiles.

The shuttle bus service is not running for this fixture. Car park season pass holders can utilise their normal spaces.
