Boston United will contest their third away fixture of the National League campaign on Saturday – chasing their second victory in the process.

The Pilgrims head to the VBS Community Stadium, Gander Green Lane to face Sutton United (kick-off 3.00pm) as the September action gets under way.

Sutton were relegated back to the National League in May, following a three-year stint in the EFL, and have started well. They suffered their first defeat last time out (2-1 at home to Forest Green Rovers).

While the Pilgrims have yet to taste victory in their opening home games, their best result to date arrived on Bank Holiday Monday when goals from Jacob Hazel and Keaton Ward secured a 2-0 win at York City.

The Pilgrims will be missing the services of suspended midfielder Jordan Richards, following his red card against Yeovil Town last weekend.

The last meeting between the sides unfolded in March 1991 with a 2-2 draw at York Street. The sides had fought out a 0-0 draw at Gander Green Lane earlier in the season.
