Preview - Sutton United

Craig Singleton25 Sep - 13:25

Boston United will go in pursuit of successive National League victories for the first time this season when they head to Sutton United on Saturday.

The Pilgrims make the journey to Gander Green Lane (kick-off 3.00pm) for their latest encounter – fresh from Wednesday's 2-0 home victory over Braintree Town.

Jordan Cropper and Dylan Hill were on target at the Jakemans Community Stadium as the Pilgrims claimed their third win of the campaign to date.

Manager Graham Coughlan is once again expected to select from a similar squad to the one on duty for the win over Braintree.

Sutton are currently managerless, following Steve Morison's departure last week. Jon Meeney is in caretaker charge. They have won one of their 11 matches to date – a 2-1 home win over Carlisle United.

Last season's corresponding fixture ended 3-0 to the Pilgrims in September, with Jacob Hazel on target twice. United later completed the league double with James Gale's last-gasp winner securing a 2-1 home victory in March.
