Preview - Sutton United

Craig Singleton5 Feb - 17:19

Boston United go in pursuit of back-to-back National League victories for the first time this season when they entertain Sutton United on Saturday.

The Pilgrims play host to Chris Agutter’s Sutton side (kick-off 3.00pm) as both clubs attempt to climb away from danger in the National League table.

Agutter has replaced Steve Morison in the Sutton dugout since the last meeting between the sides in September, when Matty Carson’s first half free-kick was cancelled out by at the death by David Ogbonna.

The Pilgrims recorded a double (3-0 away and 2-1 at home) over Sutton last season as they completed the great escape.

New Boston boss Paul Hurst could be without striker Lenell John-Lewis, who limped off against Boreham Wood last weekend with a foot injury. Checks will also be made on Marcel Lavinier, Alex Lankshear and Frankie Maguire.

Newest recruit Jamie Grimes could make his United debut – while Jake Rooney and Tom Cursons are poised for their first home appearances in Boston colours.
