The Pilgrims will be aiming to bounce back from their midweek defeat at home to Morecambe – their first National League defeat in six games.

United's midweek cause was not aided by a lengthening injury list, which also claimed Lenell John-Lewis (hamstring).

While long-term absentees Jordan Cropper, Jacob Scott and Jacob Hazel will play no more football in 2025, manager Graham Coughlan will be assessing the remainder of his walking wounded ahead of the trip to the West Midlands.

One positive for the Pilgrims will be the return from suspension of defender Alex Lankshear.

Last season's corresponding fixture ended 3-0 to the Lambs, following a 1-1 draw earlier in the campaign at the Jakemans Community Stadium.
