Preview - Tamworth

Craig Singleton19 Feb - 21:42

Boston United will be aiming to continue their winning run when they entertain Tamworth in the National League on Saturday (kick-off 3.00pm).

Fresh from a run of four consecutive victories, two at home and two away, the Pilgrims return to home turf to take on the Lambs, whom they were promoted alongside in 2024.

Andy Peaks’ side are one point adrift of the Pilgrims at kick-off, although his team do possess two games in hand.

United were 3-1 victors in the reverse fixture earlier in the season – ahead of a 1-1 draw and subsequent penalty shootout defeat to the Lambs in the Isuzu FA Trophy.

Boston boss Paul Hurst has reported no new injury concerns – with five first team players having gained valuable minutes against Lincoln United on Wednesday evening.

Jordan Cropper (knee), Zak Mills (hamstring), Jacob Scott (hip), Dylan Hill (knee), Lenell John-Lewis (foot) and Jacob Hazel (knee) are definitely out.
