After collecting six points from their opening five matches in August, the Pilgrims now head to a familiar venue in the Lamb Ground in pursuit of away day spoils.

United will be aiming to bounce back from consecutive defeats to Boreham Wood and Hornchurch over the Bank Holiday weekend. Paul Hurst will check on the fitness of defender Jamie Grimes, who missed Monday's clash with a knee injury.

Tamworth, meanwhile, have won only once so far – a last-gasp 3-2 home victory over Worthing, who had received two red cards before the home side's winner.

Ex-Pilgrims Rhys Lovett, Ben Milnes and Kieren Donnelly could all line-up against United on Saturday – with Donnelly having bagged four goals so far this season, having completed his move to the West Midlands for an undisclosed fee earlier in the summer.

Last season's corresponding fixture ended 3-1 to the Pilgrims, which was followed by a 1-1 draw (and subsequent penalty shootout elimination) in the FA Trophy on the same ground.
