Re-arranged from Saturday February 1 due to the Pilgrims' continued involvement in the Isuzu FA Trophy, Tuesday's fixture (kick-off 7.45pm) is one of United's games in hand at the foot of the table.
The Pilgrims will be aiming to stretch their unbeaten streak to four matches – after collecting five points from a possible nine against Dagenham & Redbridge, Oldham Athletic and Woking.
Manager Graham Coughlan will check on the fitness of midfielder Frankie Maguire, who limped out of Saturday's 2-2 draw against Woking.
Managed by Mark Cooper, the Glovers were promoted alongside the Pilgrims last summer – as National League South champions – and are currently embedded in the mid-table region.
Cooper could include ex-Pilgrims Aidan Stone and Alex Whittle on Tuesday evening.
