Trio make cross-town loan move

Boston United trio Jason Field, Travis Munn and Michael Emery have joined Boston Town on match-by-match loan deals.

Field and Munn have formed part of Jason Lee’s squad during the pre-season, but have been allowed to move across town to Tattershall Road with first team opportunities set to be limited in the opening weeks of the season.

United reserve team keeper Emery, meanwhile, was a summer signing from Gainsborough Trinity and will fill the void left by Town’s injured keeper and former Pilgrim Chris Wright.

Sixteen-year-old keeper Sam Vince, who saved three penalties in Wednesday evening’s behind-closed-doors friendly against a Nottingham Forest XI, is the likely beneficiary of Emery’s temporary switch to the United Counties League.
