Boston United and Lincoln City lock horns in the Bluefin Sport Lincolnshire Senior Cup on Saturday afternoon (kick-off 3.00pm).

It will be the first competitive meeting between the sides since their last Football League encounter on Boxing Day 2006.

An away tie against Lincoln United or Scunthorpe United awaits the winners in the semi-finals.

The Red Imps, managed by former United reserve team player Chris Moyses, have recruited heavily over the summer and will be targeting a return to the Football League for the first time since 2011.

The Lincoln squad is set to include former Pilgrims Paul Farman, Lee Beevers, Greg Tempest, Conner Robinson and Alex Simmons.

United boss Dennis Greene will check on the fitness of Grant Roberts and Dayle Southwell ahead of kick-off, while new signing Jack Friend is in contention after completing his season-long loan move from Peterborough United.

If the scoreline is level at the end of 90 minutes, penalties will be used to determine who progresses to the semi-finals.
