Boston United will go in pursuit of a second successive victory — and a fourth consecutive clean sheet — on Saturday afternoon.

The Pilgrims entertain Bradford Park Avenue (kick-off 3.00pm) aiming to make it four matches unbeaten — and stretch their unbeaten home record to five matches in the process.

They will need to overcome an Avenue side, who could include former Pilgrim Ryan Cresswell, currently second-bottom with five points to their credit from nine matches played.

Four of those five points have arrived away from home courtesy of a 1-1 draw at Gateshead and a 1-0 win at Darlington.

United's Jordan Thewlis will be pushing for a recall following the completion of his three-match suspension, having emerged from the bench during Tuesday's 2-0 win at Kettering Town.

York City loanee Jake Wright is still sidelined with a hamstring injury.

Last season's corresponding fixture ended 2-2, with Avenue scoring a stoppage time leveller.

Saturday's match referee is Scott Simpson, who last presided over the Pilgrims in March against AFC Telford United.

Matchday updates for those not in attendance will be published on Twitter via @bostonunited — starting with team news at 2.00pm.
