The 28-year-old marked his debut with a goal at King's Lynn Town on New Year's Day.

Mitford bagged eight goals for Gloucester City during the first half of the season - seven of them in National League North - having previously played for the likes of Bedford Town, Kettering Town and Brackley Town.

Mitford will wear squad number 11 for the Pilgrims.
