United complete quartet of signings

Ceri Jackson1 Jun 2023 - 15:38

Boston United have recently completed the signing of four new players ahead of the 2023-24 season.

The club have recently clinched the signatures of striker Jimmy Knowles, midfielders Tom Edge and Keziah Martin and defender Tom Leak.

21-year-old Jimmy Knowles will join the club from Mansfield Town once his contract expires in June. He has previous experience at Notts County, Greenock Morton and Kettering Town.

24-year-old midfielder Tom Edge joins the club from Southern League Premier Division Central side, Alvechurch. His former clubs include AFC Telford United, Walsall and Leek Town - who he signed with after returning from the United States. He completed four seasons in the states, playing for Campbellsville University in Kentucky while studying for a sports management qualification. Tom was Campbellsville's most capped player with 100 appearances, and received a hall of fame nomination.

Both Keziah Martin and Tom Leak join the club from recently promoted Kidderminster Harriers. Martin started his career at Birmingham City before his release at fifteen. He also had spells with Solihull Moors and Barnsley before joining the Harriers in 2020.

Defender Tom Leak also joins the club from Kidderminster, having started his football career within Walsall's youth setup. He also had loan spells at Salisbury and Bath City.
