Boston United will entertain Gateshead at the third time of asking in National League North on Tuesday evening (kick-off 7.45pm).

Inclement weather has put paid to the encounter on December 21 and January 14 but the match should go ahead as scheduled on Tuesday night.

United have won their last six matches in an overall unbeaten run of eight, while Gateshead made it 10 unbeaten on Saturday after coming back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 late on at Guiseley.

The Pilgrims are set to select from an unchanged squad for the visit of the Heed, who last visited York Street in 2013 to play a Conference fixture against Newport County during a time the International Stadium was out of action.

Their last league visit to Boston to face the Pilgrims was way back in April 1993, when they returned home with a 2-0 win to their credit.

This season's reverse fixture ended 3-0 to Gateshead.

Tuesday's match referee is Dean Watson, whose last visit to The Jakemans Stadium was in August against Leamington.

Matchday updates for those not in attendance will be published on Twitter via @bostonunited — starting with team news at 6.45pm.
