BUSA kindly donated £10,000 to help cover the cost of equipment requested by United performance coach Mark Laws, as the Pilgrims continue to establish themselves as a fully professional club once more.

Laws said: "I have to say a huge thank you to BUSA (and anyone who has contributed to BUSA's fundraising efforts) for purchasing the £10,000 worth of equipment that will allow us to thoroughly and accurately test each player's strength and power capabilities throughout the season.

"These items include Force Plates (for jumping and isometric strength testing), a handheld Dynamo (for isometric strength testing), a velocity-based training device (for explosive power) and a Flywheel (for eccentric loading).

"We have also added two watt bikes for off-feet conditioning and a new cloud-based software for tracking sleep, daily wellbeing, all GPS data, and a whole lot more.

"Without the generous efforts of BUSA none of this would have been possible, so thank you to anyone who has contributed and played their part in helping."
