Boston United manager Craig Elliott and new signing Andy Butler reflected on Friday night's opening pre-season friendly.
The Pilgrims were edged out at Matlock Town as the build-up to Spennymoor Town on August 14 officially got under way.
Elliott chatted about the arrival of experienced campaigner Butler, who himself discussed his move from Doncaster Rovers.
