With Ellenders now open to the general public, the man it is named after has given the venue a glowing recommendation.
Paul Ellender, a United legend between 2001 and 2009, has gone behind-the-scenes in Ellenders – and sampled the menu.
The 46-year-old chatted about the honour bestowed upon him by chairman David Newton – and how he still follows the Pilgrims from afar.

Ellenders is the club's brand-new bistro style restaurant, open solely for diners at the outset – from 5.30pm on Wednesday through to Saturday and from 11.30am for Sunday lunch.
