The Pilgrims were 2-0 victors over Farsley Celtic at The Citadel, with Mills opening the scoring in the 11th minute and Wright adding United’s second 13 minutes later.

Sam Long made good saves to deny Jimmy Spencer, Frank Mulhern and Isaac Assenso, but the Pilgrims battled their way to another valuable three-point haul.

Farsley started brightly, forcing early corners and long throw-ins around the box, but it was the visiting Pilgrims who took the lead with their first meaningful attack. Jordon Crawford arrowed the ball across goal and MILLS swooped at the back post to score his first goal since returning to the club in August.

Scott Pollock's low drive soon deflected narrowly wide before he played the role of provider by poking the ball through for WRIGHT to slam past Max Dearnley from 12 yards.

Long excelled to keep out Spencer's low drive, while Ben Pollock made a brilliant clearance off the line to thwart Luke Parkin following another Farsley set-piece delivery.

Dearnley denied Mills from 25 yards after the break, with Long making quickfire stops to repel ex-Pilgrim Mulhern and substitute Assenso.

Wright and Will Atkinson teed up Crawford to drag an effort across goal and wide, before Dearnley produced a brilliant double save to deny substitutes Brad Abbott and Jaanai Gordon, as the Pilgrims closed out a routine victory.
