Tom Clare added a stoppage time fourth at the end of the game as United sent the majority of the 1,406 in attendance, as part of the Community Foundation's celebration day event, home happy.
United took the lead within 36 seconds when Jake WRIGHT flicked the ball beyond visiting keeper Cameron Mason after Jonathan Hunt and Olly Thornley had failed to clear the danger.
The Pilgrims served up an excellent first half display and went close again when George Smith’s free-kick was powered off target by the head of Ryan Qualter.
United doubled their advantage on 24 minutes when Smith crossed from the left and Max WRIGHT bobbled a close-range finish past Mason.
The Nash reduced the deficit four minutes before the break when REILLY stepped up to slam a low, inch-perfect free-kick beyond the reach of George Willis from 25 yards.
United were undeterred and quickly won a penalty when Thornley tugged back Nicky Walker and DAVIES slammed a confident spot-kick into the net, with Mason diving the wrong way.
Max Wright was twice denied by Mason saves after the break but the main action did not unfold until stoppage time.
Willis made a brilliant, low save to deny substitute John McAtee from 20 yards before two United subs combined at the other end, with Ashley Jackson crossing from the left for Bradford City loanee CLARE to bundle the ball home from close-range for his first goal in senior football.
