JOE LEESLEY joined Boston United on loan from Harrogate Town in November 2020 – and promptly extended the deal until the end of the campaign. Covid-19 put paid to the season overall – but Leesley returned on another season-long arrangement in July 2021. He began his career in non-league with the likes of Matlock Town and Alfreton Town, before going on to star for Harrogate as they won promotion from National League North in 2018, bagging a combined tally of 43 goals and assists.
