Boston United suffered a comprehensive defeat at the hands of Nottingham-based NC Central on Wednesday afternoon.
Steve Welsh took the bold decision to leave seven of his FA Youth Cup side at home — and saw his experimental side thumped 8-1.
United’s consolation arrived from the penalty spot through centre-half Joe Cain.
