Jack Dykes scored his first goal of the season as Boston United and Football CV Reds shared the points at RAF College Cranwell on Wednesday afternoon.
In a match described as a ‘game of two halves’ by United supremo Steve Welsh, the Pilgrims led at half-time courtesy of Dykes’ third minute goal.
Welsh was unhappy with the Pilgrims’ second half performance though and the Reds claimed a point courtesy of a 69th minute equaliser.
Boston (4-3-3): Jamie Bradley; Daniel Worthington, Billy Hodgkiss, Daniel Moulds, Jack McCallum (Jack Foyster 12); Miles Lynch, Jack Dykes (Tom Taylor 60), Corey Newman; Scott Floyd, Liam Moran, Bradley Easey. Sub (not used): Conor Allen.
