The Pilgrims ended Chester FC's 100 percent start to the season by securing a 2-1 win on the 3G pitch at the Jakemans Community Stadium.

Josh Doran scored a 15th minute opener and despite a Chester leveller after half-time, the Pilgrims won it through Taylor Jaine's deft 75th minute header.
