Boston United moved tantalisingly close to the National League U19 Alliance title on Wednesday afternoon with a resounding 4-0 away win.
The Pilgrims accounted for AFC Rushden and Diamonds courtesy of four first half goals at Rushden and Higham’s Hayden Road ground.
Maison North handed the Pilgrims the perfect start with a first minute goal and further strikes from Jordan Tate, Liam Adams and George Hobbins sealed a potentially season-defining victory, with one point now required from their final two fixtures to guarantee the title.
