Jack Withers scored a second half consolation but Boston United slipped to a National League U19 Alliance defeat on Friday afternoon.
The Pilgrims suffered a 4-1 reversal at the hands of Nuneaton Town in the Pilgrims' latest fixture played on the 3G surface at Skegness Sports Association.
It could have been even worse against title-chasing Boro had United keeper Oliver Swaby not saved a penalty.
