The 24-year-old has linked up with the Pilgrims until mid-January initially, with captain Zak Mills set for a spell on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.

Prior to joining the Shrimpers, Crowther enjoyed two seasons with King's Lynn Town and featured in all four festive encounters against the Pilgrims in 2022-2023 and 2023-2024.

Crowther is registered and eligible to feature on Saturday at Yeovil Town – having been allocated squad number 23.
