A number of Boston United's young cohort of contracted players have either gone out on loan or extended their loan spells away over recent days.

Former Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Liam Clayton (18), who has been on the periphery of first team action so far this season, has joined Step 4 side Matlock Town for an initial month.

Striker Daniel Vanderpuye, who joined the Pilgrims in the summer from Lincoln City, has linked up with Step 4 outfit St Ives Town – days after turning 19.

Winger George Giwa, 20, was a summer arrival from Rotherham United and has headed out to Retford United at Step 5.

Nineteen-year-old centre-half Jesse Omoregbee signed for the Pilgrims from Hallam (of Step 4) at the end of September and immediately joined Step 3 outfit Ilkeston Town on a month’s loan.

Centre-half Finley Ging, who turned 21 on Sunday, has converted his youth loan arrangement with Step 4 side Boston Town in a further month’s loan.

Attacker Rufus Brooks (19) has extended his loan spell with Step 5 club Blackstones until New Year’s Day.

Centre-half Sam Warburton (20) and winger Jason Okunnu (18) have returned from respective loan spells with Stamford AFC and Winslow United, while defender Caleb McBride (18) and midfielder Emeer Peets (18) are awaiting their first loan moves of the season. Peets is poised to return from international duty with Bermuda.
