Preview - Leeds United

Boston United make a quickfire return to National League Cup action on Tuesday with the visit of reigning champions Leeds United (kick-off 7.00pm).

Fresh from Saturday's opening victory over Middlesbrough, with Lenell John-Lewis and Kieren Donnelly both on target, Graham Coughlan will now prepare his side for the visit of the recently-promoted Whites.

Coughlan will check on the fitness of Frankie Maguire (knee) and Michael Kelly (hamstring), who both limped out of the victory over Boro.

Jacob Scott (ankle) and Liam Waldock (knee) both remain sidelined and will not feature in midweek.

Leeds emerged as 4-3 victors in the opening match of last season's competition at the Jakemans Community Stadium – en route to winning the cup outright.

Leeds defeated Sutton United 2-1 in the final in April to lift the inaugural National League Cup.

Should the match remain all-square after 90 minutes, a penalty shootout will be held to determine the destination of one extra point in Group D.

The club are only opening the Acorn Taxis (West) Stand for this fixture – with tickets on sale here or contactless payments available on the turnstiles.

The shuttle bus service is not running for this fixture – but will be back in action, as normal, for the visit of FC Halifax Town on Tuesday August 19.

Car park season pass holders can utilise their normal spaces.
