Preview - Scunthorpe United

Craig Singleton

Boston United and Scunthorpe United will lock horns at the Jakemans Community Stadium in Saturday's late kick-off.

The Pilgrims welcome the Iron for the second time in a fortnight (kick-off 5.30pm) following the away side's 3-1 Emirates FA Cup victory on October 17.

The Iron have since lost to Woking and Tamworth in National League action – culminating in Andy Butler losing his job on Wednesday. Senior players Jacob Butterfield and Ross Barrows will take caretaker charge on Saturday.

For the home side, Paul Hurst will be hoping to see a continuation of the feelgood factor from Tuesday evening's last-gasp victory over Gateshead.

Tom Cursons netted twice after emerging from the bench – pushing his case for a starting position in the process as he moved on to five goals for the season so far.

The Pilgrims are unbeaten in the four National League North and National League outings against the Iron – drawing three and memorably winning 6-3 at Glanford Park last season.

LIVE COVERAGE
The match will be shown live on National League TV.
