Turnbulls commit to shorts sponsorship

Turnbulls commit to shorts sponsorship

Craig Singleton6 Jul 2012 - 15:30

Local building and plumbing suppliers Turnbull & Co are the new shorts sponsors of Boston United.

Turnbulls will feature on the reverse of the Pilgrims’ match shorts throughout the 2012-2013 campaign — with United midfielder James Reed on hand to officially launch the new partnership on Thursday afternoon.

Reed joined Turnbulls heavyside sales manager Paul Roberts (right) and marketing manager David Middleton (left) to unveil the new sponsorship.

Turnbulls will also sponsor the matches against Gainsborough Trinity and Bradford Park Avenue during the course of the season as part of the sponsorship deal.

The company is competitive in the consumer market in bathrooms, showers, tiles and garden landscaping products that includes a FREE local home delivery service.

United commercial manager Craig Singleton told bufc.co.uk: “Turnbulls are long-standing supporters and sponsors of Boston United and we are delighted that they have agreed to become shorts sponsors for 2012-2013.

“This will give Turnbulls a real presence throughout the season and we extend our thanks to Chris Hopkins, Paul Roberts and David Middleton for their terrific backing.”

Paul Roberts of Turnbulls added: “We are pleased to support Boston United whenever we can and when the opportunity to sponsor the shorts became available, we were interested.

“It’s a different way of getting our message across and we were delighted to take advantage of this sponsorship for 2012-2013.”

The Turnbulls logo will feature on the reverse of all match shorts worn by the first team during the Blue Square Bet North campaign.

The shorts sponsorship will also coincide with the launch of a new smartcard scheme for supporters to take advantage of when buying products from Turnbulls. A percentage of each purchase will go to the club.
