Boston United have bolstered their goalkeeping department with the acquisition of experienced stopper Aaron Chapman.

The towering 33-year-old has linked up with the Pilgrims in the wake of Cameron Gregory's ankle ligament damage, which is likely to sideline him for the foreseeable future.

Chapman left National League North rivals Scunthorpe United earlier in the season, having enjoyed considerable EFL experience and success with the likes of Accrington Stanley, Peterborough United, Gillingham and Stevenage.

He had signed briefly for Retford United in the meantime and although he did not make an appearance for the Badgers, the Pilgrims would like to thank the Cannon Park club for their assistance in facilitating a speedy registration.

Chapman will wear squad number 31 – and is registered and eligible to make his debut against Alfreton Town on Saturday.
